The renovationproject focused on this café that would be changed to a new café with VIPgallery, retail, red wine and cigar bar. The original interior space is highenough to accomodate a mezzanine floor for the red wine and cigar bar to createa new private space. A VIP entrance was introduced to the ground floor. Theenclosed VIP gallery will guide special guests to the stair connected
tomezzanine private space. The VIP gallery will split the collective and intimatespace. The mezzanine serves as a private space for invited guests to enjoy redwine and cigars. There is a special exterior cigar window extended out onmezzanine floor that created a special space for smokers. Meanwhile, the cigarwindow could be the sign to communicate between interior and exterior space. All original interior materials were recycled for the renovation, maintainingthe memory of previous space as an application of our sustainable designconcepts.
